Melissa DiGiovanna is an experienced artist and graphic designer from Long Island, New York. After graduating from Smithtown High School West in 2013, she began her studies at SUNY Oswego where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in May 2017. During her time at SUNY Oswego, she specifically focused her studies on graphic design and sculpture. Through both her demonstrated history of working in the graphic design industry and the intense art courses she has taken, she has developed a specific interest in the moments of engagement between art and the user.
DiGiovanna is skilled in many design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign; as well as sculptural techniques like woodworking, metal casting, and mold making. She strives to continue practicing and learning new skills and techniques every day. Her long-term career plans include working as an experience designer and eventually continuing her studies by attending graduate school to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree.
